The Body Shop's soap and cleanser bar range is made with nature-inspired ingredients to cleanse while respecting the skin's balance, offering scents and textures for a sensory wash experience.

We recommend storing soap bars on well-draining dishes so they dry between uses, cutting large bars into smaller pieces, using minimal pumps for liquids and keeping products away from heat and direct sun to preserve them.

Community-trade nourishing ingredients such as shea butter and other gentle components are included in our soaps. They avoid harsh additives that strip skin of essential oils, to support healthy-looking skin while cleansing thoroughly.

For dry or sensitive skin to choose creamy, shea or almond-based bars, while for oily or combination skin you should opt for tea tree formulas; scent preference and desired mood (invigorating vs calming) can also help you choose.

Our solid bars are designed for both face and body, providing you with gentle yet effective cleansing and a rich lather that maintains moisture balance and works in both skincare and body routines.

We use minimal or recyclable packaging, low-plastic solid formats and concentrated formulas that reduce water content and shipping impact, and align our soaps with our sustainability goals.
