Body butters deliver deep, intensive hydration, especially to areas prone to dryness like elbows, knees, and feet. Unlike lighter lotions, body butters form a protective barrier that locks in moisture for up to 72 hours. Regular use helps soften and smooth rough patches, improve skin elasticity and reduce flakiness, soothe irritation from dryness or environmental stress, and provide long-lasting fragrance throughout the day. They're especially beneficial in colder months or for very dry or dehydrated skin.
How to choose the right body butter
Finding the right body cream depends on your skin needs and texture preferences.
- Very dry skin: choose ultra-rich formulas like Shea Body Butter or Argan Body Butter.
