DOES MAKEUP AFFECT SKIN?
Makeup itself won’t harm your skin, but not removing it properly can lead to clogged up pores and unwanted blemishes. Always remember to remove your makeup at the end of the day, and then follow up with a cleanse to get rid of any lingering dirt. IS MAKEUP SAFE FOR SKIN?
Makeup is totally safe for skin – it’s only if you forget to thoroughly remove it that you may run into some issues. Leaving makeup on while you sleep may cause it to block your pores, leaving you with congested skin.
A good thing to look for is makeup that’s non-comedogenic. This means that it contains ingredients that won’t clog or block the pores in your skin. This doesn’t mean you won’t need to remove it properly at the end of the day, it just reduces the chances of your pores becoming clogged.
