3 monthes using this product, it's not moisturizin

At first, my only complaint was the delicious scent that can be overwhelming for those who have heightened senses. 3 monthes into using this product, I find that this is more like cosmetics than a real lip healing product. I have dry, chapped lips, and I apply generous amount of this to start the day. Shortly after, it becomes sticky, and the chapped lips are still chapped under it. I tried using body cream on my lips, and it did more moisturizing than this lip balm did. Otherwise, it's a pretty product, but for a more intensive lip care, it's not the best choice.
