Good question. I also have fair skin that’s sensitive. I wear very light makeup, too. I have used this mark in the morning with good results. It smells great and is invigorating to skin. The caffeine in this product seems to wake up your skin. Enjoy!

Dry, freshly washed skin is optimal. It feels like a heavy cream with mild exfoliation. Applying this on wet skin has a thinning feel to it. You can do it but the mask may not stay in place.

Wet your face then apply directly, leave on for about 5-10 minutes and then rinse off. It feels sort of like a frosting for cake and it doesn't dry. I hope this helped!

Hi, I don't know if this is the official method they recommend, but here is how I used it. It worked very well!
Rinse your face with warm water to open your pores and let it dry a little bit until your skin is slightly damp. You can either use a facial brush to apply it to your face or just get some on your fingers and apply it. I personally just used my fingers. Leave the mask on for about 10-15 minutes. I would recommend ten minutes if you have pretty sensitive skin. Then use cool water to remove the mask and close your pores.

Thank you for your interest in The Body Shop's Nicaraguan Coffee Intense Awakening Mask. We recommend using this warming and energizing face mask after removing make-up and cleansing skin. Use your fingers to smooth on an even layer of the mask, avoiding the eye and lip area. Apply to the neck and décolleté if desired. After 5-10 minutes, rinse off with warm water and a muslin cloth in gentle circular motions to exfoliate. Use it 2-3 times a week. We hope this answer helps!
