What does it do for you ?

Our Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Exfoliator gives skin some much-needed, gentle exfoliation to help wash away pesky dead skin cells, making way for brighter looking skin.

Our exfoliator is enriched with jojoba beads, soft little skin scrubbers made from biodegradable natural wax. They’re hard-working without being hard on your skin and will help to shift stubborn dirt and grime for that deep cleansed feeling.

Our bestseller-for-a-reason seaweed face scrub loves combination or oily skin, leaving it feeling refreshingly clean while tackling excess oil or rough patches along the way.

This face exfoliator is also infused with mineral-rich seaweed from the crisp waters of West Cork, Ireland. Why? Because Mother Nature knows best. The Body Shop’s Seaweed Exfoliator is enriched with the good stuff found in seaweed: vitamin C, vitamin B12, potassium, iron and more. Seaweed scrub-a-dub-dub.

  • Perfect for combination or oily skin
  • Infused with mineral-rich seaweed
  • Gently exfoliates with the help of jojoba beads and olive stone
  •  Cleans and refreshes skin

Is this product suitable for sensitive skin? 2 answer
My skin gets usually reddened after I use certain products. Moreover, it leaves red scars and blemishes. Please let me know if this product is okay to use on sensitive skin.

Good question. As a person with sensitive combination skin, I have used the Mediterranean Almond Milk with Oats Instant Soothing Mask weekly for the past couple of years. While it is a good moisturizing mask, it does not remove black heads/blemishes. To treat blemishes, I use a small dab of TBS’s Tea Tree Skin Clearing Cream or Tea Tree Oil. This does help clear the skin, when used sparingly, so it doesn’t irritate sensitive skin. If you have a TBS retail store near you, sales staff may offer you a sample to take home and try before you purchase. Good luck. :)

Hi Khansa! Our Seaweed exfoliator is formulated for combination skin - to moisturize dry parts and mattify the oily ones. This one could be a bit too much on the sensitive skin, so I'd not recommend it. Feel free to check out the Mediterranean Almond Milk with Oats Instant Soothing Mask that works as a mask and exfoliator (https://www.thebodyshop.com/en-us/skin-care/face-masks/mediterranean-almond-milk-with-oats-instant-soothing-mask/p/p002860). Hope this helps! :)

Is it good for sensitive skin? 1 answer
I’m trying to get together a skin routine and have sensitive skin so I was planning on doing the aloe collection. Is this something I can include to help with blackheads and breakouts or should I stick to just using the aloe products?

Hi Meggo08, Thank you so much for your interest in our Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Exfoliator! It's not suited for very sensitive skin, and wouldn't help with battling imperfections. The Seaweed range is for oil control, and moisturization. The range that we have for blemishes is our Tea Tree range! Hope this helps! :)
