Fair Trade organic virgin coconut oil

A legendary moisturiser for dry skin

Coconut oil has always been a bit of a wonder oil, and has been moisturising skin, hair and bodies forever.

Our coconuts come from the shores of Samoa. Coconut harvesting is a family business here, involving multiple generations. It helps everyone benefit from the island’s resources, following the island’s ethos of Fa’a Samoa – ‘The Samoan Way’.

Coconuts are gathered up, hand-cracked, pressed and filtered to release pure, high-quality oil.

Each coconut is picked for its ‘good smile’ – meaning, our local experts can tell from the look of the shell whether it’s good quality and ready to harvest. They’re grown and wild-harvested without chemicals, so we can guarantee the oil is organic.

I've only used it once or twice, so no real change in radiance, but it feels light and makes me feel silky. The scent is pleasing, but light - which is nice. Being Autistic, some scents are too strong for me. This isn't one of those. It absorbs quickly, which is also nice, as heavy things on my skin make me a bit insane at times. It's also all right for my sensitive skin and hasn't triggered any allergies. All around, I'd say this is a win!

This and the coconut dry body oil are my favorites. This is so lightly fragranced. I see this pairing perfectly with the kukui cream or coconut butter. It has a lightly sweet tropical smell to it. I haven't used it as a massage oil yet. I bought this mainly to use under a lotion or cream, on its own for moisturizing.

This oil has a nice, but powerful fragrance. A little goes a long way. I am liking it best mixed into my unscented body moisturizer.
