This product smells great (citrus) and does some exfoliating. I feel it's more of a body wash than a body polish, but I still love it!

I am looking for a scrub that is a little rough, but helps with my chest acne. I mostly have dark spots and a few pimples here and there. Will this help or at least have ingredients to help?

Hello, great question. In my experience, TBS's Tea Tree line is the very best for treating oily skin and acne. There are so many helpful products in this line, from body wash (which may help reduce blemishes on your chest), to lotion to treat blemishes, to facial masks. I read that the tea tree products are safe for use on blemished skin.
I can't say if there are specifically any dark spot reducing properties. I consulted with a board certified dermatologist re: skin damage caused by an accidental sunburn years ago. Perhaps a dermatologist consult may be helpful for you as well. Good luck. :)

Hi JDavis,
Thank you for your interest in The Body Shop's Satsuma Exfoliating Body Polish. We don't carry the specific product that will help with dark spots however we will make sure to forward the inquiry to the Relevant Team and, hopefully, the product should be available in the future! We would recommend checking the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Body Wash https://www.thebodyshop.com/en-us/collection/tea-tree-oil-for-skin/tea-tree-skin-clearing-body-wash/p/p000040 which will help preventing blemishes/acne on the back, shoulders and chest with regular use.
Hope this helps!

I would NOT recommend that anyone use this product on their face because it's too abrasive for facial skin. Check the "Facial Treatments" section on TBS's website for products that are suitable for exfoliating your face. Good luck! :)

It is to be used in the shower/bath! It is a wondeful product and smells AMAZING. I use it with the body polisher or with my bath lily, both are available online. I dont know if they are available in your local store.

It is for use in shower, as it supposedly foams up. It absolutely needs to be rinsed off.

This is a scrubby body wash you use in the shower or bath. It works best with a shower puff, sponge, or wash cloth.
It has some lather (suds) like a body wash, but it also has scrubby particles to help remove rough, dry, or dead skin.

Yes, you would use this in the shower. It's best to moisten your skin & what I usually do is turn the shower off & use the body polish to get rid of all the dead skin. When you finish just turn the shower back on, rinse & ta-da, luxurious feeling skin!!!!
