Great little shaving brushI looked at quite a few shaving brushes online and wanted to get one that doesn't use badger hair. This one is great - nice soft bristles, the wooden handle is good quality, and the price point and delivery time were excellent.

I shave my head and face every day. I use FOR MEN MACA ROOT SHAVE CREAM 200ML and its the best shaving cream I have ever used. This shaving brush unfortunately doesn't live up to the cream. The two I have purchased do keep their shape wonderfully well but both sets of bristles have fallen out of the handle. Not one at a time but they disconnect leaving me with brush and a handle. Very poor.

Best shaving brush I've foundLooked in local Boots in Stratford upon Avon town centre but found no brush. Was referred by another shop to a tobacconist. Found a brush there for over a tenner but when used to lather it collapsed into a circular fan shape which might suit those who use a bowl of shaving soap. Then discovered it was badger bristle which is nearly always sourced from China which sets animal welfare bells ringing. Then found a Kent shaving brush in an independent pharmacy. It used mixed bristles without saying what they were and was somewhat stiffer but not 100%. Finally discovered the Bodyshop shaving brush. I use a well known shaving soap (that contains palm extract and olive oil) and comes out of the tube like green toothpaste. I squeeze it onto my face and lather it up there. As the brush remains fairly stiff I can use it like an artists brush and "paint" the lather right up to my nose , sideburns etc. The synthetic bristles are smooth on the skin but retain sufficient firmness and none have fallen out. The handle is made from FSC wood and nicely fits my brush hanger (which wasn't the case with the other two). No signs of cracks but brush is only a couple of weeks old. Also, the cheapest of the three. I would highly recommend this brush if you like this type of lathering up.
