Referrer Rewards:

Officers, directors, employees, independent contractors, representatives and agents of Sponsor and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensors, distributors, divisions, participating advertising and promotional agencies, and prize suppliers (collectively, the “$100 Gift Card Giveaway Entities”) and the members of their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouse) and/or those living in the same household (whether related or not) are not eligible to enter this Sweepstakes or win any prize.

Eligibility: You must be a legal citizen and current resident of Canada and be eighteen (18) years of age or older to participate. Entrants who reside in Quebec or have won a prize in any Sponsor promotion in the ninety (90) days prior to the commencement of this Sweepstakes are ineligible. By entering, participants warrant and represent that they agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the final decision of the Sponsor.

How to Enter: The Sweepstakes begin at (12:00 AM) Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on (February 26, 2021) and ends at (11:59 PM) EST on (March 7, 2021) (the “Sweepstakes Period”). There will be a drawing (the “$100 Gift Card Giveaway Drawing”) from entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. To participate in the Sweepstakes, an entrant must join Love Your Body Club during the contest period.

One entry per person, per email account will be counted for each Drawing. Use of multiple email accounts is prohibited. All entries submitted become the sole property of the Sponsor and the Sponsor reserves the right to end the Sweepstakes at any time.

Entries must be received by Sponsor by the end of the  Sweepstakes Period in order to be entered into the $100 Gift Card Giveaway Drawing. Timing of entry receipt will be determined by Sponsor’s time clock. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, delayed, stolen, incomplete, falsified, void, corrupted, garbled, misdirected, or otherwise unintelligible entries or for any problems, bugs or malfunctions you may encounter when submitting your entry. Incomplete, garbled, corrupted or otherwise illegible entries are void and will not be accepted. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify incomplete entries. Only one (1) entrant’s email address may appear on an entry. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the internet service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the e-mail in question. All entries submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Prize: The Prize is a The Body Shop® $100 E-Gift Card with a value of $100 CAD dollars. The Prize is redeemable in-store and online in Canada. Prize is subject to the terms and conditions applicable to The Body Shop® $100 Gift Card and are non-refundable and non-transferable, cannot be combined with any other special offer or promotion and must be accepted as awarded. Prize may not be exchanged for cash value or substituted, except that Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute a prize with either the cash value of the prize, or a prize or prizes of equal or greater value. Applicable taxes (if any) and any other costs or expenses associated with the prizes or the use thereof not expressly stated as being part of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Drawing and Notification: Each eligible entry received during the Sweepstakes Period will be entered into the random drawing for  the $100 Gift Card Giveaway Drawing. The $100 Gift Card Giveaway Drawing will be conducted at The Body Shop®, 1 Yorkdale Road, Suite 510, Toronto, ON M6A 3A1 (the “Sponsor”), at approximately (12:00PM EST on or about the March 8, 2021 immediately following the end of the  Giveaway Drawing Period (a “Drawing Date”). On the Drawing Date, one entrant will be selected at random by a representative of Sponsor from all eligible entries received during the applicable Sweepstakes Period. Attempts will be made to notify the selected entrant by email within 2 weeks after the $100 Gift Card Giveaway Drawing has taken place. The Sponsor shall have no liability for any prize winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by the potential prize winner for any reason. If a potential prize winner cannot be reached from the first notification attempt, if the Prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential prize winner, then such person shall be disqualified and an alternate prize winner will be selected.  If the potential prize winner is found to be ineligible, or if he/she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines a Prize for any reason prior to award, such potential prize winner will be disqualified and an alternate prize winner may be selected or the applicable Prize may go unawarded upon the Sponsor’s decision. The decision of the Sponsor is final.

Odds: The odds of winning a Prize for the  $100 Gift Card Giveaway Drawing depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the applicable Sweepstakes Period.

Sweepstakes Conditions: The Sweepstakes is subject to these Official Rules. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, which can be found at https://www.thebodyshop.com/en-ca/policies/terms-and-conditions. All decisions of Sponsor are final and binding, and entrants agree to waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules, except where prohibited by law. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or violating these Official Rules.

The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for: (i) late, lost, delayed, stolen, misdirected, postage-due, incomplete unreadable, inaccurate, void, corrupted, garbled or unintelligible entries, communications or affidavits, regardless of the method of transmission; (ii) telephone system, telephone or computer hardware, software or other technical or computer malfunctions, lost connections, disconnections, delays or transmission errors; (iii) data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry or other materials; (iv) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer or other property, caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of a prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes; (v) any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes, or (vi) any other errors whether caused by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries in the Sweepstakes.

By accepting a prize in this Sweepstakes, each winner grants to Sponsor, where permitted by law, the right to use and publish (worldwide and via the Internet) the winner’s name, image, likeness, hometown name and/or prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without notification, review or approval, and without additional consideration.

Limitations of Liability: The Sponsor is not responsible for entries not received due to errors, failures or any malfunctions, which may limit an entrant’s ability to participate. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and select the prize winner by randomly drawing from those entries received up to the cancellation/suspension date.  Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a Prize if, in its sole discretion, the Sponsor determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices.

Miscellaneous: Sponsor has the right to substitute any or all components of the Prize for another of equal or greater value due to Prize unavailability. IN NO EVENT WILL THE SPONSOR OR ITS RESPECTIVE AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, LICENSORS AND RELATED COMPANIES, THEIR ADVERTISING OR PROMOTION AGENCIES OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS, BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE SWEEPSTAKES.

Privacy: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information by the Sponsor for the purposes of administering the Sweepstakes, contacting selected entrants and otherwise as permitted or required by law and in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy available at https://www.thebodyshop.com/en-ca/policies/privacy-policy.
