Really great! I was using a Beauty blender until I found this inexpensive alternative. More firm, but not a bad thing! I dampen the sponge and use a clean towel to make sure its not too wet. Then I apply all my liquid/cream based makeup with it

Wash with a gentle soap (you can actually buy soap meant for makeup brushes/sponges) to wash it.
I mix the soap with warm water in a bowl and swirl the sponge and squeeze it multiple times to get the soap through the whole thing to clean it well.
Then I rinse thoroughly with warm water under the tap until all the soap is gone (I.e. when you squeeze the sponge, there are no soap bubbles).
Lay the sponge out on a towel to air dry thoroughly (I usually leave it for almost 24 hours - I wash it when I’m done my makeup in the morning and by the next morning it’s nice and dry).
I do this once a week or every other week if I’m lazy!

Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your interest in The Body Shop's Complexion Blender. To wash the makeup sponge you can use a small amount of the Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil Makeup Remover to fully get rid of excess makeup from the sponge.
Hope this helps!
