Rainforest Moisture Shampoo for Dry Hair is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 79.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from My Favorite shampoo I have keratin treated hair and thinning problem so I can't use random shampoo. This shampoo is perfect for my hair as it cleanses well without making my scalp or hair oily (Less hair fall too). It has a strange mossy fragrance; luckily, its mild and do not last long. since its sulfate free, it lathers less but that's okay as long as my hair is healthy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hope they never discontinue it I LOVE everything about this shampoo--including the smell. It's so complex and layered, so I'm surprised by the people who hate it. I've got waist-length hair that's permed (well, Japanese thermal straightened), dyed and highlighted. And I'm a swimmer. My abused hair loves this shampoo. It cleans really well without stripping it (did I mention that my hair is really long and extremely processed???). Because of the length, I wash my hair between once to three times a week, depending if I'm in the pool. I'm amazed that this shampoo can handle the chlorine so well. My only complaints is that the large bottles (2.5x the size, IIRC) were discontinued a couple of years ago. I hate the extra waste of going through the medium-size bottles. And the second complaint is that whenever there's a big sale, this line seems to sell out first. I often have to buy the sticky test bottle. When that happens, Shine is a good backup, though I prefer the scent and luxury of Moisture.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Smells like Play-doh!! yuck It took a while to get my hair on track with the sulfate free change but this was not the way to start. The smell of this formulation is awful especially when the hot sun hits it. I MUCH prefer the Shine version of this line. I would suggest over soaking your hair with water & pour the shampoo right on your head not your hand & go at it scrubbing you will build up a small lather that makes it easier to wash your hair than to slightly wet & use your hand to guild it thru that way takes forever & doesnt feel clean. I would also suggest using an oil or serum to smooth out the ends they can appear more frayed until your hair makes the switch.

Sugar Cane

Sugar, which is a giant grass native to South and Southeast Asia, is now cultivated in tropical climates across the world. The earliest record of people making crystallized sugar was in India around 500 BC. We source our Community Trade organic cane sugar from a region of the world lovingly known as the world's Cradle of Organic Sugar, where local women use sugar to keep their hands soft as a part of their daily cleansing routine.

Enrich Not Exploit

It's in our hands

Our story started with Anita Roddick's belief in something revolutionary; that business could be a force for good, and in 1976 The Body Shop was born. We've always done things differently, broken the mould, been bold, been brave. Today, our commitment is stronger than ever; to enrich, not exploit. For us, this means enriching people as well as our planet, its biodiversity and resources. We are committed to working fairly with our farmers and suppliers and helping communities to thrive. Our products enrich, but never make false promises and are never tested on animals. We are proud to be original, irreverent and campaign for what’s right; together we can do it.
