Since 1992, we’ve pioneered hemp as a lead ingredient in our products. Although our Community Trade hemp is the same species that is used to produce the drug cannabis, we use the non-psychoactive variety of hemp to produce a beautifully rich hydrating oil. Because the crop could be mistaken for the illegal variety of hemp, we have to keep our supplier’s location and identity top secret. But what we can tell you, is that our farmers carefully nurture their hemp crops in a uniquely beautiful (and strictly confidential!) location in France.
Hydrogenated Coconut Oil, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil, Cera Alba, Candelilla Cera, Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii, Tocopheryl Acetate, Salvia Sclarea Oil, Aqua, Panthenol, Retinyl Palmitate, Tocopherol, Linalool, Limonene, Geraniol.
Apply the Strawberry Lip Butter generously to lips whenever you need some intense nourishment. Don’t worry if you see crystals forming on your lip butter – it’s a totally normal, natural result of the waxes and oils in the product. Simply rub the butter between your fingers to warm it, and the crystals will instantly melt so you can apply as normal.

Our story started with Anita Roddick's belief in something revolutionary; that business could be a force for good, and in 1976 The Body Shop was born. We've always done things differently, broken the mould, been bold, been brave. Today, our commitment is stronger than ever; to enrich, not exploit. For us, this means enriching people as well as our planet, its biodiversity and resources. We are committed to working fairly with our farmers and suppliers and helping communities to thrive. Our products enrich, but never make false promises and are never tested on animals. We are proud to be original, irreverent and campaign for what’s right; together we can do it.
