4.5/5
What does it do for you ?

Give the gift of mane-swishing freedom. Our Shake & Swish Ginger Haircare Gift Set helps wash away loose flakes and soothe dryness, leaving scalps feeling loved.

But this gift set doesn't just love their scalp. It helps support our Community Fair Trade partners who helped us make it. Our Ginger conditioner is made with community Fair Trade organic aloe vera from Mexico.

We work with three female farming communities based in Campeche and Yucatan. We’re proud our trade helps support indigenous farmers living on the edge of the rainforests with a steady income in an area where work opportunities are limited and communities can face marginalisation.

The packaging is also FSC certified and can be widely recycled.

Discover how else we’re supporting communities and fighting for a fairer and more beautiful world.

What is Vegan Silk Protein?

This 100% vegan protein is in all our new haircare – we love it because all our new routines repair hair from the inside out.*

Our vegan silk cleverly replicates the chemical structure of natural silk produced by the common European garden spider. But ours is fully plant-based – all our haircare is registered by the Vegan Society, so, no spiders or silkworms were harmed, used or disturbed to obtain it – promise!

How to use

  1. Apply a walnut sized dollop of conditioner on damp, cleansed hair.
  2. Work from root to tip, massaging into scalp and hair until completely covered.
  3. Comb through hair with our Detangling Comb.
  4. Leave in for a minute or two.
  5. Rinse thoroughly and follow with our Ginger Scalp Serum.

Ginger essential oil

Doesn’t do things gingerly

Ginger is a little root with surprising power. It gets the nod from traditional Ayurvedic medicine and boffins in lab coats, who have been using if for years for its purifying properties and pleasantly zingy smell. We use ginger essential oil in our cleansing and purifying haircare range, Ginger. Ginger essential oil is said to have stimulating talents, so it’s an old favourite in traditional Chinese medicine for taking care of your scalp.

Our ginger essential oil is sustainably sourced from Sri Lanka.
