Community Fair Trade tea tree oil

Small but mighty

Known for its naturally purifying prowess, tea tree oil has always been a winner for oily and blemished skin. That’s why we love it in our Tea Tree skincare range.

Our Community Fair Trade tea tree oil is sustainably sourced in Kenya. We partner with a number of independent farmers who steam-distil the leaves within 12 hours of harvest, to make sure we’re bottling our purest and most potent oil. The oil from around 15,000 tea tree leaves goes into every 20ml bottle of Tea Tree Oil.

We take a lot of pride in making sure we source the highest quality ingredients, while making sure they’re having a positive impact on people and the planet.

DID NOT WORK FOR ME

I bought this with high hopes that it would clear my bacne but it wasn’t effective at all. I’ve been using this for 2 months now and my bacne is actually getting worse. I think I’m going to stick to prescription acne lotions instead of drugstore products. This product mattified my skin, yes, however it didn’t perform as expected and did not clear up my bad bacne. It caused my acne to worsen over time. I think this is due to it being so drying to the point where it would completely dry out my back - producing more sebum, sweats and oil which was causing me to break out even further. I wouldn’t recommend but you should try it out to see if it works for you - I think it is dependent on everyone’s skin.

This body wash really helped to clear up my back acne! It did take a few weeks to see a noticeable difference (hence 4 stars) but I’m glad I stuck it out
