This furthers the invisibility of a significant part of our population.

That’s why this year we are supporting Just.Equal Australia’s
petition for the addition of three simple LGBTIQA+ inclusive
questions in the 2026 Census.

In the 2026 Census we want to see these added:
1. A separate question on sexual orientation
2. A separate question on gender identity
3. A separate question on variations of sex characteristics
