I personally prefer Boar hair brushes, but I have my fair share of badger and horse and other synthetic brushes and this is the best synthetic one I have. I like boar because it’s more “scrubby” and rough on the face and I feel it gives a good exfoliation, this brush is quite soft but it has better back bone than other synthetics i have and it whips up lather very well and does a good job at getting shaving soap or cream under the whiskers. Definitely great value for such a small fortune, would definitely recommend acquiring this brush and having it in rotation with your other shave brushes.
